For evenly cooked roasts, making stews and even baking bread in ovens, on stovetops or over open fires! Comes with lid with self-basting nubs on the underside. Dutch Ovens have spiral handle bail. Pre-seasoned and ready to use.

Holds 9 qt, 13-1/2" OD x 4-3/4" D, 22 lb. Note: Lodge items do not have perfectly flat bottoms, so we cannot recommend them for use on glass top stoves. Need to re-season your cast-iron cookware?

Lightly coat inside and outside with only liquid vegetable oil. Make sure to get all the corners. (Do not use butter, margarine or solid vegetable oil such as Crisco). Underside of iron cover has self-basting nubs.
