This limited edition French STAUB DRAGON Dutch Oven is a rare find for any kitchen. Its cherry red color and round shape make it a GORGEOUS addition to any cooking space.

With a 2.5 qt capacity, this cast iron Sauteuse DRAGON Dutch oven is perfect for preparing stews, soups, and more. The oven is compatible with induction, electric, and gas stoves and has a heat resistance of 500°F.

The set includes a lid, golden knob and two handles for easy transport. The ceramic surface coating makes it easy to clean and the item weighs 8.5 lbs. This Dutch oven is a must-have for any home cook who wants to add a touch of dramatic elegance to their kitchen! 2 3/4" high; 4 1/2" high with lid. An embossed dragon encircles the lid of our Staub braiser, giving it a celebratory east-meets-west aesthetic, ideal for oven-to-table presentation.

Its innovative enamel finish takes cast-iron cooking to the next level with improved performance, style and durability, and never needs seasoning. The domed Chistera lid features self-basting spikes that collect and return moisture, so food turns out tender and juicy. The interior's rounded sides facilitate stirring and prevent sticking, and the wide handles ensure a secure grip, even with oven mitts. Use this heavy-duty braiser to make everything from stews to casseroles to roasted chicken. Perfect for celebrating Year of the Dragon.

Heavyweight enameled cast iron transfers and retains heat evenly. Specially formulated black matte interior enamel contains traces of quartz, giving it additional heat-retention and rougher surface for superior browning. Interior resists rust, chips and cracks and does not require seasoning. Integrated handles make it easy to carry - even with oven mitts. Domed Chistera lid promotes continual self-basting for tender, flavorful results.

Glossy multicoat enameling replicates majolica finish of fine ceramics. Compatible with all cooktops, including induction. Oven and broiler safe to 500°F. Comes with mini Care and Use book! Ideal for use on all cooktops, including induction.

Not recommended for glass stovetops. For best results, use low to medium heat. When using high heat, bring pan slowly to high temperature.

Use wood, plastic or heat-resistant nylon tools. Metal utensils may damage enamel. Enamel may chip or crack if banged against hard surface.

Caution - handles and knob can become very hot. Allow cookware to cool before cleaning. However, we recommend hand-washing for best results. Avoid using steel wool, steel scouring pads, harsh detergents, bleach and abrasive cleaners.

To remove stubborn stains, soak pot for a few minutes in hot soapy water. Staub traces its origin to the Alsace region of France, where founder Francis Staub designed his first enameled pot while working in an old French artillery factory in 1974.

With the goal of creating the perfect pot for cooking the region's traditional hearty soups, stews and braises, he combined cast iron, the most popular material of the time, with the latest enameling technology available. Today, Staub still makes its cookware at a traditional atelier in France, casting each pot in an individual sand mold, which is heated to 800°F and destroyed after use. The exterior enamel coating is made with glass powder and mineral pigments, applied in two or three coats to generate brilliant glossy colors. Brand new items in original box!! Ultra cool statement cookware that can go right from.
