As most of my other copper also has been in storage. There are no dings and no dents and I'm willing to polish it up for serious interest, but I'm really hoping to sell the whole collection as I've saved all this copper for far too long, As I'm now moving to a very small place and I won't be able to display the copper again. This item it cooks beautifully as it's heavy and the lid seals well which keeps the juices in. Copper cookware is favored for its excellent heat, conductivity and responsiveness. The copper heats up and cools down quickly offering more precise, temperature control, copper distributes evenly, preventing hotspots, and reducing the chance of burning ideal for cooking delicate items such as fish I believe this pot is lined with tin because it's a traditional French pot it's durable and will last for years.
When I used it, I roasted two ducks with vegetables. I'm sure it would handle a small goose or a couple of chickens definitely a large beef roast.
There are no dings or dents. It just needs a quick re polish, which should take about 10 minutes or less.
I'm moving so I'm trying to get everything listed, but if I have time I'll polish and add updated photos next week I will. Thank you for your interest.
