Rare MCM Dansk Belgium Jens Quistgaard Orecast. IHQ Cast Iron Enamelware, Yellow Enamel Roaster Pot / Dutch Oven w/ Lid that also serves as a separate baking dish and/or trivet.

If you love 1960s Descoware, you will love this roasting pot. A large, a 4 - 5 lb chicken or roast beef will fit with room for vegetables.

The lid is heavy and tight so air doesn't escape which adds so much to the flavor. Made of cast iron with enamel coating inside and outside. Almost perfect, no chips but some minor discoloration from use. To serve, turn the lid upside down and it acts as a trivet to protect table surface or use the lid as a separate baking dish.

Mid- Century Modern/Retro, displays beautifully; it isn't just a cooking utensil but is a work of art from Belgium. Golden yellow, round, flat bottom for even cooking. Great for oven roasting but can also be used over a burner for stews, chili, etc.

Note: Made in Belgium (1960-70s), not in China. This pot makes great roasts and baked chicken. Leftovers can be stored in it for reheating. DEFECTS : Preowned & used but close to perfect with minor inside stains.

Very minor marks on bottom.
